Our friends at Nutrifix, a unique nutrition app designed to enable people to eat healthy on the go by locating healthy meals nearby, have reached and exceeded their fundraising target on crowdfunding site Crowdcube.
Following Nutrifix’s soft launch in January 2017, the app has already seen significant success. With no marketing campaign in place, the app has attracted over 750 members and 9,700 food outlets to date. More than 70 restaurants, from fast-food chains to boutique cafes, have now signed up, enabling app users to search for meals at a touch of a button.
On 15th March 2017, the brand behind the innovative app announced its crowdfunding campaign with the aim of raising £150,000. The raised money will enable the brand to develop and expand its product across multiple revenue streams, and well as strengthen the team and launch a marketing campaign.
With a little help from Brazil, the news about the app’s crowdfunding campaign appeared in a number of publications, including The Investment Observer and Crowdfund Insider, and the brand has reached its crowdfunding target within two weeks of the launch.
To date, more than £185,000 has been raised and the initial target has been exceeded by over 23 per cent.
